In February, temperatures range from a low of -4°C to a high of 4°C, so it's still cold in Seoul. Luckily, it's going to get warmer as Spring is just around the corner. Located at the top of the hill in Hannam-dong, the Grand Hyatt Seoul Ice Rink is officially open! Tickets are available for both on-site purchase and online booking. You can either buy an entry if you'd like to simply enjoy the venue, or skate ticket if you'd like to skate! The entry ticket includes one free drink. To get there, it's better to take a taxi from the nearest subway station.

<Future City Seoul> DDP Exhibitions 🎑
There's a free exhibition at DDP in Dongdaemun, themed around the "Future City." It’s a great chance to explore both the past and future of Seoul through media art. Get ready to capture some Instagram-worthy shots. To avoid the crowds, it’s best to visit on weekdays.

Celebrate the New Year with <Art Logue: Winter Bloom> at Atelier_Gwanghwa! This media art exhibit is displayed on the walls of the iconic Sejong Center in Gwanghwamun, showcasing the works of 4 artists for 20 minutes. For an even more immersive experience, head up the stairs to get a closer look!

DDP Media Art Exhibits <Future City>
Future City Seoul is a media art exhibition where you can experience artists’ interpretations of Seoul’s past and future. From the heart-shaped staircase to various spots throughout the exhibition, there are plenty of photo ops. Swing by on weekdays for a better chance of snapping the perfect pictures!
Namsan Tower Love Locks
There are two ways to reach Namsan Tower: walk or take a cable car. While walking is great in the spring or fall, we’d recommend the cable car this month. Once you get off the cable car, you’ll find countless love locks everywhere. You can buy a lock at Namsan Tower (KRW 10,000 or more), but it's a bit pricey, so it's better to pick one up before you head over!

Year after year, famous hotels across Seoul host strawberry buffets around this time, and JW Marriott Dongdaemun is THE place to go. This season, they've partnered with the global color institute, Pantone, to create a beautifully set buffet in stunning shades of pink. Plus, the buffet features a variety of strawberry desserts that will delight both your eyes and taste buds!
Egg & Flour
Located in Haebangchon, this Michelin star restaurant specializes in fresh pasta. The window seats, which offer a view of Haebangchon, are very popular, so we'd recommend making reservations via Catch Table. Keep in mind, the prices can be a bit high. 👀 The restaurant is situated near the trendy Shinheung Market, so you can easily explore the area before or after!
If you're looking to buy a box of chocolate for your loved ones or friends, you can easily find them at convenience stores, or Paris Baguette and Tous les Jours, popular franchise bakery cafes in Korea. However, for something extra special, why not try a trendy café or a specialty shop?
