Discover authentic Korean culture in the Bukchon Hanok Village
A place where you can learn about and experience Korean traditional culture in Hanok. It is a complex cultural space that combines alleys from the 600-year history of the Joseon Dynasty with modern facilities. The entire structure is free to enter, allowing visitors to unwind for a while and enjoy the warm and peaceful atmosphere typical of Hanok, as well as explore other public Hanoks through the "space commentary program.”
Various handicrafts that you can make. Calligraphy, playing Gayageum (Korean zither with twelve strings), and making flower tea are just a few of the hands-on activities you may participate in with expert teachers to better grasp Korean culture. Whether you are doing a traditional craft or writing Hangeul (Korean alphabet) with a brush, mementos of your efforts make great keepsakes.
