Walk down the street and satisfy all your food cravings
Once a movie district that was home to renowned theaters since the Japanese occupation, this area was named after the Busan International Film Festival when it was first hosted in 1996. Today, most festival events take place in Haeundae, and it has become more famous for its food. Specialties at the square include Ssiat Hotteok (sweet pancakes with seeds filling), flat dumplings, chicken skewers, and other street food. Another attraction is the handprints of world-famous movie icons like director Kim Ki-young and actor Jeremy Irons, stamped on the ground.
