Gyeongju Expo Park
경주 세계문화엑스포공원
Park featuring the strikingly unique Gyeongju Tower observatory
A cultural theme park that brings together decades of content from the Gyeongju World Culture Expo. The 82-meter-tall Gyeongju Tower, inspired by the historic Nine-story Wooden Pagoda of Hwangnyongsa, is a popular photo spot. Inside the park, visitors can explore the Solgeo Art Museum with its modern and contemporary Korean paintings, or enjoy the Tobot Junk Art Museum featuring beloved animation characters. Families with children will love the Hwarang Playground, which includes a royal tomb slide, jungle gyms, and even archery experiences. You’ll also find the Asadal Sculpture Park, which reinterprets Gyeongju’s heritage through modern art—perfect for a relaxing stroll. After sunset, don’t miss the Lumina Night Walk, where colorful lights and holograms illuminate the trails. With so much to see and do, it’s best to allow plenty of time to explore the park.
