Maeheon Citizen's Forest
매헌 시민의 숲
Stroll through the lush greenery and tranquil trail in a park
Korea's first forest-style park. It was created to commemorate the 1986 Asian Games and the 1988 Seoul Olympics and features different landscapes depending on the season. The north side of the park is home to the 'Maeheon' Yun Bong-gil Memorial Hall, a children's playground, and a floor fountain, while the south side is home to a memorial tower and monument to the victims of past accidents.
A great place to relax in the cool shade. Cherry blossoms and colorful flowers are in full bloom in spring, and red leaves are spectacular in fall. There are also large lawns, well-groomed sports fields, and camping facilities, making it a great place to spend time, and it's part of the 4-course Seoul Dulle-gil, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll.
