Hop on the monorail for convenient sightseeing
Steeply inclined staircase, towering as high as the 6th floor of an apartment building. It is a part of the 'Choryang Ibagu-gil' that preserves the modern history of Busan. Initially, it was used as the quickest route from Mangyang-ro to Busan Port, primarily used by refugees seeking employment at the port on a first-come, first-served basis. Today, a monorail is installed for the convenience of residents, eliminating the need to climb the stairs. Visitors can take the monorail to the top and leisurely descend the stairs while exploring the small shops and coffee shops along the route.
