The work of the show’s designers, buttressed by the skill of the production team,
is outstanding…..The commitment and physical courage of the dancers are
impressive, although I hate to think how many bruises the women must have had
at the end of the show. - Natasha Rogai/South China Morning Post

“A visual and auditoryspectacular performance….Despite the proscenium setting, Mr
Blank 2.0 gives a more immersive feel ” - -Dora Lai/dance journal/ HK

A CROSS-MEDIA ART INTEGRATION, ASSEMBLES AND SEARCHES FOR THE TRUTH

Co-created by CCDC artistic director Sang Jijia and playwright Janice Poon, Mr Blank invites you into an extraordinary cross-media theater experience where dance, video art, and digital creation converge like never before.

4 shortlisted nominations at the 21st Hong Kong Dance Awards
• Outstanding Choreography
• Outstanding Medium Venue Production
• Outstanding Performance by a Male Dancer
• Outstanding Lighting and Visual Design

About the work

When time loses its bearings in the labyrinth of algorithms, Mr. Blank takes root deep within the human psyche. In this age of big data—where cameras, live-streaming, and viral videos saturate every corner of society—our sense of time splinters into fragments, drifting in a ceaseless current.
Mr. Blank 2.0 plunges into a world where life is inextricably bound to big data and artificial intelligence. Once again, Sang confines his characters within a sealed space, dissolving the boundaries between “observer” and “observed,” and the audience is no longer a mere bystander. Within these glass walls, intersecting gazes reveal both the anxiety of being watched and the struggle to preserve one’s identity.

Have you ever come face-to-face with your own Mr. Blank
