An independence movement-themed station that exhibits and promotes the history of independence fighters. The pillars are covered with photos of activists, and the inscriptions on the screen doors recount the history of the anti-Japanese movement. Also worth seeing is the "100 Years Sky Gate" at Exit 4 and the platform decorated with Gwimyeon (monster masks) that evoke traditional Korean painting.

Accessible location to find 'Insadong' on foot
Conveniently located for major tourist attractions.
