Gwandeokjeong Pavilion

King Sejong built this wooden structure in the 15th century for military training. It is said to be Jeju Island's oldest building, and its central location makes it easily accessible. It is characteristic of Jeju's architectural style, with long eaves and low buildings, and has hosted many significant events in modern and contemporary history. In recognition of its historical significance, it was designated National Treasure No. 322 in 1963.
