Provisional Capital Memorial Hall

This memorial is housed in a renovated building that once served as the presidential residence during the Korean War when Busan was the temporary capital. Exhibits include photographs depicting the war's devastation, a timeline, and a diary chronicling major events that took place in Busan. Visitors can explore the recreated rooms like the living room, study, and executive office used by President Syngman Rhee and his wife. Additionally, the former Busan High Prosecutor's Office, located behind the residence, now serves as an exhibition hall showcasing artifacts that shed light on the lives of refugees and the political and cultural landscape of Busan during its time as the temporary capital.
