Statues featuring realistic recreations of life from the era
Street established near the 40 steps used as a quick way to get to the city center during the Japanese occupation. After the Korean War, the area was filled with shacks of war refugees. After a major renovation in 2004, it was transformed into a themed street showcasing Busan's modern and contemporary history. Statues of a man selling rice puffs, children carrying buckets of water, and other scenes from the 1950s and 60s are scattered throughout the area.
