Incheon Jayu Park

Korea's first Western-style modern park. It is Incheon's representative park and is a favorite among citizens who enjoy taking a leisurely stroll along the wooded trails. There are various historical highlights in the park, including the statue of General MacArthur, who commanded the Incheon landing, and the 100th anniversary commemorative tower of diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Korea, and the octagonal pavilion at the top offers a panoramic view of Incheon Harbor and the sea, making it a popular spot for sunsets and night views. Especially in spring, the park is filled with white cherry blossoms, and it is especially crowded with visitors who come to enjoy the flower viewing.
