Unwind while watching the sunset
The island is located off the coast of Seogwipo Port and is connected to the pedestrian-only Saeyeongyo Bridge. The island is known as Saeseom Island because of the abundant growth of 'Sae grass', a type of grass used for thatched roofs, and is classified as a warm temperate forest reserve. The island has been uninhabited since 1965, but its cobblestone roads, trails, and photo areas make it an ideal location for a leisurely stroll or to watch the sunset.
