Excellent spot covering Busan's history from the Paleolithic era to modern times
City museum introducing the history of Busan with more than 1,300 artifacts. There are two permanent halls: the Dongnae Exhibition Hall, which contains artifacts from the Paleolithic to the Goryeo Dynasty, and the Busan Exhibition Hall, which tells the story of Busan from the Joseon Dynasty to the present day. You can find many valuable artifacts such as the 'Yieuiyang Pil Sansudo' recognized by UNESCO's Memory of the World Programme and the Gilt-Bronze Standing Bodhisattva, National Treasure No. 200. There is also a 'Cultural Experience Center' where you can enjoy tea ceremony and take a rubbing.
