Meet historic buildings related to shipbuilding
Plum blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in fall blend in with the stone walls of this Korean-style park. It was once the site of Sugunjeoldosayeong, a military training facility where the commander of the Joseon Navy resided, but due to urbanization, the building was demolished and only the ruins remain today. There are also many meaningful buildings inside the park, including the shrine of General An Yong-bok, who fought to defend Dokdo, and the 25 Uiyongdan (Altar of the Righteous and Brave), which enshrines the soldiers who fought during the Imjin War, making it a great place for children to study history.
