Korea's largest royal tomb group with nine royal tombs
There are a total of nine royal tombs, including Geonwolleung, the royal tomb of King Tejo, who founded Joseon, and Hyeolleung, the tomb of Munjong, where you can feel the history of the Joseon Dynasty. You can explore various buildings such as the Jaesil Hall and Jeongjagak Hall, where memorial services are prepared. Donggureung Historical Museum, located at the main entrance, also displays stones of various sizes and shapes.

Great place to take a walk in the woods and get away from it all
There is a forest path inside the royal tomb, so you can take a walk through the trees and feel the phytoncides, and there is a royal tomb forest rest area where you can take a break. Along the way, you'll find stone relics, and when you reach the vicinity of Sungneung, you'll find a large pond, Sungneung Yeonji, where you can spend some time relaxing.
