Bongeunsa Temple

A representative temple of Zen Buddhism founded during the Silla Dynasty. You can see a distinct landscape with a quiet temple with an old-fashioned atmosphere and modern buildings, and at night, each sculpture is illuminated with colorful lanterns, providing a spectacular night view. The temple also provides temple stays, which are an excellent way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city center while learning about and experiencing Buddhism, as well as taking a photo in front of the famous Maitreya Buddha statue with a sutra on its head.
