Explore one of Korea's best camellia viewing spots
From January to April, the island bursts into vibrant red camellias, making it a great place for a stroll. The "Dongbaek Park" has a wooden walkway encircling the island, offering a 30 to 40-minute scenic route, ideal for a relaxing time in the refreshing sea breeze. Visitors can also explore the lighthouse observatory, a mermaid statue of Princess Hwangok, a statue of Silla-era scholar Choi Chi-won, and the Nurimaru APEC House, where world leaders convene. Withs such diverse offerings, there's plenty to see and do on the island.
