Tranquil ponds and pavilions combine to create a stunning space
This Joseon Dynasty garden covers an area of 340,000 ㎡. Located in Changdeokgung Palace, it is a great place to enjoy the tranquil pavilion and the changing scenery of each season. The grounds are dotted with ponds and pavilions, including Buyongji Pond, and Aeryeonji Pond, Buyongjeong Pavillion where Jeongjo enjoyed fishing, and you can spend a relaxing time amidst the lush greenery. Currently, the grounds are open for limited viewing with a cultural guide, and you can follow a set course for about 70 minutes. It's worth noting that you'll need to book both a secret garden tour and a pavilion tour to visit.
