Sungnyemun Gate Guard Ceremony & Experience

The event takes place at Sungnyemun Gate, the city gate designated as Korea's No. 1 National Treasure. The ceremony is a vivid recreation of the "guard ritual" that was used to defend the city during the Joseon Dynasty, and it includes the "opening and closing ritual," which is performed in traditional costumes, as well as the "Sunra ritual," which is identical to current patrols.
