Paris Park
파리 공원
Meet a French-style garden and a sculpture of the Eiffel Tower to enjoy an exotic feel
The park was opened in the 1980s to commemorate the 100th anniversary of diplomatic ties between France and Korea. To reflect the traditional styles of the two countries, Seoul Plaza was decorated with a Taegeuk pattern (a circular symbol in the Korean national flag) while forming a French-style garden. The newly renovated park is enlivened by Parisian-inspired sculptures such as the miniature Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, as well as a refreshing floor fountain, and is a favorite resting place for many citizens, with lawns for picnicking and benches for relaxing.
