Traditional rituals to honor the kings and queens of the Joseon Dynasty
An event held at the 'Yeongnyeongjeon Hall' of the 'Jongmyo Shrine'. It includes several procedures, such as the 'Eoga Hangyreol,' in which the king travels from the palace to Jongmyo, the 'Gwesikrye Ritual,' in which food and offerings are made to the gods, and the 'Heonrye,' in which a cup is raised to the gods, as well as the 'Jongmyo Jeryeak (ritual music),' performed by various traditional instruments. There is also an "Immersive Content Experience Center," where you can watch AR and VR videos of Jongmyo, and a "Ritual Instrument Experience Center," where you can see ritual instruments.
