Walk along the fortress built along the outskirts of Seoul
One of the great mountains in Seoul, which is famous for its 200-meter-long road outside the fortress. You can see the layering stones that are said to have been stacked during the reigns of King Taejo, King Sejong, and King Sukjong. Hwanghakjeong Pavilion, on the way to the trail, was a site for archery practice during the Joseon Dynasty. You can see Seoul's attractions and buildings from the top, including Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Mountain, and Baegaksan Mountain. Maebawi Rock and Chima Rockface, which appeared in Gyeomjae Jeong Seon's "Inwangjesaekdo (landscape painting)," present a magnificent sight below the top. There is a light walking course as well as a course that goes all the way around the mountain, allowing you to climb and descend the mountain via various routes.
