Great place to discover the city's past and present
A space where you can immerse yourself in the history of Seoul's former capital, the Hanyang Fortress. The museum is divided into three exhibition rooms: Room 1, which contains a scale model of Hanyang Fortress, Room 2, which explains the construction process of Hanyang Fortress during the Joseon Dynasty, and Room 3, which allows visitors to retrace the restoration process of the damaged fortress.

Stroll along the castle road while looking at 'Heunginjimun Gate'
There is also a Hanyang Fortress Library with materials and books on the history and culture of Hanyang Fortress, which is a great place to learn more about the city's history. The castle road runs behind the museum, so you can easily access other popular tourist attractions in Seoul, such as Heunginjimun Gate and Ewha Womans University.
