Gahoe Museum
가회 민화 박물관
Admire Korean folk paintings that express old Korean sentiments
It is a specialized museum with a collection of approximately 1,500 artifacts dedicated to promoting the importance and value of traditional cultural heritage. Folk paintings, amulets, and folk items, in particular, express the sentiments of the Joseon Dynasty's ancestors, and it's fun to figure out what they mean one by one.
After viewing the folk paintings, the experience zone provides a variety of hands-on programs such as amulet making, tablecloth weaving, folk painting, and folk fan painting, allowing you to select your favorite. You can choose your favorite colors and paint your own designs to create fans and eco-bags, which is a great way to spend time with family and friends.
