Learn about the history of Korean women's makeup from the Unified Silla period to modern times
Artifact exhibits are organized around various themes. The 'Permanent Exhibition' is divided into periods ranging from the Unified Silla Dynasty to the modern era, and the 'Special Exhibition' is organized by theme and contains over 300 artifacts related to makeup culture, tools, and materials. In addition, related materials and experiences are prepared for each exhibition to assist visitors in understanding them.
This historical museum is housed in Space*c, a cultural center founded by cosmetics manufacturer Coreana Cosmetics. You can learn about Korean women's makeup culture and traditions from the past, and if you have more time, you can buy a combined ticket to the Coreana Museum of Art, which exhibits 21st-century art.
