Great place to get a bird's eye view of abstract art in Korea
An art museum showcasing the works of Kim Whanki, the pioneer of Korean abstract art. The museum is divided into three sections: the main building, which houses works from various stages of Kim's life, including his time studying in Japan, as well as works by his wife, Mrs. Kim Hyang-an, a cafe and art shop, and an annex with special exhibitions by various artists. There is also an educational program where visitors can try their hand at painting in the "Moon Pavilion," which was designed by Kim Whanki during his lifetime.
