Sungnyemun Gate

The gate of National Treasure No. 1, one of the four main gates of the capital city of Hanyang (old name for Seoul). It is also called Namdaemun Gate, because of its location to the south, and has been used as a place for national events since the Joseon Dynasty. The images of modern buildings and the gate with an old atmosphere create a harmonious landscape, and the lights turn on along the walls and roof tiles of Sungnyemun Gate at night, so many people visit here to enjoy the night view or take pictures.
