Hwamyeong Arboretum
화명 수목원
Perfect for an outing surrounded by lush nature
Busan's first public arboretum boasts approximately 1,300 plant species, set against a fantastic natural backdrop of Geumjeongsan Mountain and the Daecheoncheon Stream in front. It's an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll and relaxation. The arboretum features many facilities including six exhibition halls organized into themes such as "Invitation to the Forest" and "Forest in Crisis," a glass greenhouse with subtropical and temperate plants. There is a small library with children's books, offering a chance to enjoy reading in nature with your little ones. There are ample plots, benches, and gazebos scattered throughout, so pack some tasty snacks and spend a day of outdoors.
