Traveling is just around the corner, and it's easy to get caught up in the rush to pack your bags and forget about the important things. This is especially true if you're traveling with children. Before traveling, go through your checklist and make sure you haven't forgotten anything.

Checklist for your travel!

1. Double-check your flight schedule. 2. Check the weather in Jeju, where it rains a lot. 3. Check the closing dates of tourist attractions and restaurants. 4. Buy travel insurance just in case.

Packing Checklist

Passport

You won't be able to board a plane to Jeju without a picture ID. Make sure to check you have your resident registration card or driver's license one last time. If you don't have either, your passport will do.

What if I'm a minor?

You can bring your student or youth ID. You can also bring a copy of your resident register or proof of family relationship. If you don't have any of these with you, you can get it from a machine at the airport. You can also bring a photo of your ID.

✓ Outfit

Jeju weather is highly variable due to the influence of the sea breeze. Check the weather by month and pack accordingly.

✓ Emergency medicine

Motion sickness medicine, antipyretic, cough syrup, digestive, pain reliever, antidiarrheals, bug bite medicine, mosquito repellent, band-aid

✓ Sunscreen

The sun in Jeju is intense. It's essential to wear hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect your eyes and skin from its rays.

✓ Cosmetics and toiletries

Your accommodation may not provide cosmetics and toiletries. Pack them in small containers. Domestic flights have no liquid restrictions, so you can bring cosmetics over 100 mL on board.

✓ Umbrella

Jeju gets a lot of rain throughout the year. Bring a folding umbrella in case of unexpected showers.

✓ Electronic device chargers

Don't forget chargers for your phones, cameras, laptops, and other electronics. If you spend a lot of time on the go, a power bank is a must. It's important to note that you can't pack a power bank in your checked baggage - you must bring it on board.

✓ Tripods and selfie sticks

Jeju is a great place to take photos with a beautiful natural backdrop. The places that are not famous tourist spots are often deserted. If you want to take great photos, be sure to bring them with you.

If You're Traveling with a Child

✓ Baby products

Diapers, formula, baby bottles, bottle cleaners, disposable straws, wipes, pacifiers

Good to Know!

• You can rent a stroller from stroller rental companies around Jeju International Airport. Many of them rent both strollers and car seats, so you don't need to bring your own if you have a lot of luggage. • You can also rent a stroller at the airport information desk upon arrival and departure.

✓ Thermometer and emergency medications

Thermometer, motion sickness medication, antipyretic, digestive, fever cooling sheet, bug bite medication, mosquito repellent, band-aid

✓ Plastic bags

It can be frustrating when there is no trash can around to throw away a used diaper. Pack plastic bags when you go out with your child.

✓ Toys

Pack some toys to soothe a crying child on an airplane or in a coffee shop. Your child's favorite videos are a must. If you're going to the beach or pool, bring a floatie or life jacket. They can be expensive if you rent them directly from the shops by the beach.

If You're Climbing Hallasan National Park

✓ Hiking boots

Hallasan National Park is rocky and hard on the feet with regular sneakers. If you're climbing in winter, be sure to bring crampons.

✓ Hiking sticks

For high mountains like Hallasan National Park, hiking poles are essential. They help distribute force, making it easier to climb and descend.

✓ Lantern

In the mountains, the weather can be unpredictable and darkness can fall suddenly. It's advisable to pack a lantern for those nights when visibility is limited, especially crucial during winter when daylight hours are shorter.

✓ Emergency food

Hiking can be physically demanding. After reaching the summit, you may not feel hungry due to the exertion. To ensure a safe descent, it's advisable to bring along some simple Gimbap (seaweed rice rolls) or eggs.
