For safety reasons, electronic cigarettes, portable batteries, and lighters (disposable/reusable), which have a potential risk for fire or explosion, must be carried onboard and cannot be checked in.
Starting March 1, 2025, electronic cigarettes and portable batteries can no longer be stored in overhead compartments. Passengers must keep them on their person or store them in the seat pocket.

e-Arrival Card

Starting February 24, 2025, you can complete your e-arrival card online. You can start writing the arrival card for 3 days before your arrival in Korea, and the website supports 7 languages. This will help reduce entry inspection time and make the process more convenient.
📖 Good to Know
Foreigners who have completed their foreign registration or hold a valid electronic travel authorization (K-ETA) do not need to complete an e-arrival card.

Immediate Tax Refund

With this new service, you can pay the tax excluded price when shopping in Korea. There is no need to go through a separate tax refund procedure when leaving the country.
