It takes about 60 minutes to drive from Gimpo International Airport to Myeongdong, and about 70 minutes to drive to Gangnam. It is closer to Seoul's city center than Incheon International Airport. Most people take the subway, an airport bus, or a taxi to and from the airport.

Subways are the most cost-effective mode of transportation from Gimpo International Airport to downtown Seoul. To get to downtown Seoul, take lines 5, 9, or the airport express train. If you are staying near Gwanghwamun, Gangnam, or Myeongdong, we recommend taking the subway. The airport is easily accessible and connected to the subway station.
