Getting to Seoul from Incheon Airport in One Go!

From Incheon International Airport to downtown Seoul, the travel distance is around 60km. The most popular transportation options are 'Limousine Bus' and 'Airport Railraod Express (AREX).' This airport bus connects Incheon International Airport to various areas in Seoul. It can take you directly to main stations, such as Seoul Station, Dongdaemun, Gangnam, Hongdae, and Sinchon Station without any transfers. Compared to regular buses, limousine buses have fewer stops, making travel times shorter. Also, drivers generally help you with carrying luggage on and off the bus. If seats are full, however, you will have to wait for the next one.

The Airport Express connects Incheon International Airport Station to Seoul Station. There are two types of train: 'Express Train', which travels nonstop from Incheon International Airport to Seoul Station, and 'All-Stop Train,' which stops at all 14 stations between Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 and Seoul Station. Express Train offers the convenience of advance reservation and assigned seats, but it is more expensive and has longer intervals between trains. All-Stop Train takes about 15 minutes longer than the Express Train, but it has shorter intervals and is more affordable. If you have enough time, we recommend All-Stop Train! Choose the train that fits your schedule and budget.

Limousine Bus fares vary by route (KRW 16,000 ~ 18,000). The Airport Express (All-Stop Train) fare is for using prepaid/post-paid transportation cards. If you use a single-use transportation card for the All-Stop Train, an additional KRW 100 fee and a KRW 500 deposit are required. You can get a refund on the deposit at the station you arrive.

As for the Airport Express, the All-Stop Train ticket office and platforms are marked in blue, and the Express Train is marked in orange. Terminal 1 has the All-Stop Train on the east side and the Express Train on the west side. Terminal 2 has the All-Stop Train on the north and the Express Train on the south.
