Even though Jeju is a domestic island, you can shop tax-free. There are three ways to do this: online, at the Jeju Tourism Organization Duty Free Shop, and at the Jeju International Airport Duty Free Shop.
Know Before You Buy Duty-free
Travelers moving from Jeju to other parts of the country can make up to six duty-free purchases per year, regardless of nationality or age. However, there are restrictions on certain items, such as alcohol and tobacco, and the limits and purchasing locations vary depending on whether you are traveling domestically or internationally.

Online Duty-free Shop
You can do your duty-free shopping online. The main advantage is that the prices may be cheaper compared to the airport duty-free shops. There are two online duty-free shops in Jeju: Jeju Tourism Organization Duty Free Shop (JTO) and Jeju International Airport Duty Free Shop (JDC).
How to pick up your online purchases
Arrive at the airport → Check in → Go through domestic security screening → Pick up and pay for your purchases at the pickup location → Board your flight
Where to pick up duty-free items
All pick-up booths are located in the domestic boarding area. The one for Jeju Tourism Organization Duty Free (JTO) is located across from Gate 9, and the one for Jeju International Airport Duty Free (JDC) is located in front of Gates 5 and 6.

· Jeju Tourism Organization Duty Free Shop (JTO): From 30 days prior to departure to 4 hours prior to departure · Jeju International Airport Duty Free Shop (JDC): From 10 days prior to departure date to 12 PM the day prior to departure

· You must be at least 14 years old to register and make purchases in online duty-free shops. · Only the online purchaser can pick up the purchase. (ID, voucher, boarding pass required) · Online booking discount promotions will apply. Jeju Tourism Organization Duty Free Shop
Korea's first duty-free shop designated for locals, located on the first floor of the ICC Jeju International Convention Center. It is conveniently located in downtown Jeju, allowing you to shop tax-free while traveling, without having to worry about flight times. Duty-free purchases made at the store can be picked up at the airport when you depart from Jeju. There are frequent discounts compared to airport duty-free shops, so you might score duty-free goods at a lower price.
