With the craze for K-pop, more and more people are coming to Korea to attend their favorite stars' concert. Here are some key insider tips for each concert venue in Korea. Get ready to immerse yourself in the K-pop experience! 🎤✨

The Sports Complex Station (Line 2, 9) offers very convenient transportation. Inside the Sports Complex, there are several stadiums, with large venues such as the Olympic Main Stadium and the Indoor Gymnasium, which can accommodate over 10,000 people, frequently chosen as concert venues. Additionally, medium-sized venues like the Student Gymnasium and Jamsil Auxiliary Gymnasium often host performances, so it's important to check the location of the stadium hosting the event before your visit.

Inside Sports Complex Station, there is a small convenience store, 7-Eleven, where you can purchase simple snacks and drinks. Restaurants are mostly clustered near exits 5 and 6, to the left of the stadium, and there's also a GS25 convenience store. If you're short on time, you can also grab a quick bite there.

There are lockers available near exits 5 and 6 of Sports Complex Station, but they may be limited due to high demand. If the event organizers do not provide a designated baggage storage area, it's a good idea to leave your luggage at another subway station along your route. By downloading the T locker app, you can search for luggage storage facilities at nearby subway stations and reserve storage space in advance.

An outdoor stadium that can accommodate up to 100,000 people. Its name and exterior buildings feature Olympic-related symbols, which might cause confusion with the Olympic Park. Several artists, including IU and BTS, have held concerts here.

Remodeling of the aging stadium facilities has been underway since November 2023, and external bookings are expected to be available starting as early as December 2026.

The venue has a seating capacity of about 11,000 people and features a closed circular structure. With three floors and very high ceilings, the structure is almost vertical, but visually, it gives the impression that the distance to the stage is relatively close.

Due to the steep ceiling and narrow seats, please be careful when entering and exiting the 2nd and 3rd-floor seats to avoid tripping.

Located just five minutes from Olympic Park Station on Lines 5 and 9, this large sports arena has a seating capacity of 15,000, with relatively close proximity between the stage and the audience. Exit through Gate 4 and follow the Meeting Plaza to the concert hall. The plaza is full of restaurants and cafes, making it a great spot to grab a meal before the concert.

Instead of the crowded convenience store in front of the venue, head to the one next to the swimming pool building. Just go down the stairs between the swimming pool building and the concert hall, and you'll find both a convenience store and a cafe.

If you plan to stay nearby, the Bangi-dong food alley area is recommended. It's full of affordable accommodations, and you'll find plenty of entertainment options like Lotte World, restaurants, and pubs.

At the Olympic Gymnastics Arena, bags larger than an A3 sheet must be stored in the designated storage area, which costs KRW 5,000.

On concert days, most nearby cafes are packed! In such cases, head to the book cafe, "Seoul ART-CHAEKBOGO," located on the 1st basement floor of Gocheok Dome. It has a spacious and comfortable interior, making it a great spot to relax for a while, and there's a cafe inside as well.

When heading home after the concert, it's better to go to Gaebong Station if you're using the subway. Most people head to Guil Station, making Gaebong Station less crowded and easier to catch a train.

Floor seats, which are closest to the stage, have no elevation difference, and the higher you go, the steeper it gets. Because the venue is so large, it can be a bit difficult to see the stage from the upper levels. Bringing a small pair of binoculars is recommended!

A newly opened concert venue near Incheon International Airport, it is part of the Inspire Entertainment Resort, which also features a hotel and shopping mall. The venue provides a free round-trip shuttle service to and from Incheon International Airport.

Despite its large size and capacity, the seats are close to the stage, providing excellent visibility, even from the 2nd floor. Being a newly opened venue, it also boasts a top-notch sound system.

Inspire Arena is housed in a building with a large media art zone. The 150-meter-long ceiling and tall walls display immersive content that changes hourly, making it a great spot for memorable photos.

Though the venue has convenience stores and a dining area, it gets crowded as the concert time approaches. It's recommended to grab snacks or meals at the station or airport in advance.

If you have reserved seats, there is ample space under the seat to store your belongings during the concert. While there is no dedicated storage facility, a bag check service is available, though its availability may vary depending on the event, so check ahead.

Located near Exit 2 of Munhak Stadium Station, this outdoor stadium can accommodate 50,500 people. Right next to it is the baseball stadium, home to the Incheon SSG Landers baseball team.

The stadium is very large, and it can be difficult to secure a clear view, so most seats (except those on the first floor) often require viewing through screens. Bringing binoculars or renting a Samsung S23 Ultra can be very helpful.

If you exit through Exit 2 of Incheon Terminal Station, which is the last station on the subway line, you'll find Lotte Department Store Incheon. Crossing the overpass in front of the department store will lead you to an Olive Young on the opposite side.

An outdoor stadium with a capacity of about 43,000, Goyang Sports Complex has gained attention as a concert venue for famous K-pop artists, especially as major performance venues in Seoul have become difficult to use due to various restrictions. It is also well-known for hosting past performances by ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEN, G-Dragon, and more.

You can freely enter the venue and check the view from the seats when there are no games or performances taking place. However, floor seats do not have assigned seating, so the view may be obstructed by various factors such as stage setups, fan light sticks, or banners from front-row spectators.

When choosing accommodation, it's recommended to stay near Line 3 subway stations, especially around Yeonshin Station. This area is lively, with many great restaurants, and is very convenient for traveling to places like the airport and Hongdae. Additionally, while there is no direct subway line connecting to Daehwa Station from areas like Sinchon, Hongdae, and Hapjeong, you can take the M7731 bus, which stops directly at Daehwa Station.

It’s a good idea to have a hearty meal at the Hyundai Department Store Kintex branch nearby. The underground food court offers a variety of delicious food, and you can reach the concert venue in about 15 minutes by bus. On the first floor of Goyang Sports Complex, there is a book cafe with seating, where you can relax and wait for the concert to begin.

Built to commemorate Kyung Hee University's 50th anniversary, this medieval Gothic-style building has a seating capacity of 4,400. Be careful not to confuse it with the university's other campus, which is located in Suwon, just outside of Seoul!

From the main gate of Kyung Hee University, Hoegi Station on Line 1 is the closest, while Hankuk Univ. of Foreign Studies Station, also on Line 1, is nearer to the back gate. It takes about 25 minutes to walk from Hoegi Station to the concert hall, so it's recommended to take a local bus during the hot summer or winter months. If using Hankuk Univ. of Foreign Studies Station, note that the path to the concert hall is a bit steep, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

The restrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors are always crowded before and after performances, so it's better to use the relatively quieter restrooms on the 3rd and 4th floors.

The entire campus is beautifully designed in a European style, making it worth taking a campus tour before the concert. Especially in spring, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, many visitors come just to take photos.

With around 800 seats, this venue is relatively small, so you’ll have a good view from almost any seat. The ivy-covered Yonsei University campus is also beautiful, and since it’s close to Sinchon and Hongdae streets, you can easily explore those areas as well.

Although Sinchon Station on Line 2 and Gyeongui-jungang Line are located in different places, both are close to the concert hall, so you can use whichever is more convenient for you.

The location shown on map apps might differ from the actual venue, so don’t rely solely on the map. Be sure to check the campus signs for guidance.

If you walk a bit uphill from Centennial Hall and take the escalator down, you'll find an automatic convenience store. It’s relatively unknown, so it’s quiet and cheaper than most chain convenience stores.

Blue Square is a hub with several performance venues. Concerts are held in the Mastercard Hall, located underground within the building. Compared to other large venues, it's smaller and relatively easy to navigate. After enjoying the concert, you can end your day perfectly by heading to nearby Itaewon, which is full of trendy spots and pubs.

To easily find the venue, use the underground passageway between Exits 2 and 3 of Hangangjin Station on Line 6.

Since the venue is not very large, you'll have a good view from almost any row. However, securing a seat closer to the center is key for the best view of the stage.

On the 3rd floor of Blue Square, there's a lounge called "Book Park Lounge," which is a great spot to relax before the concert. It offers comfortable seating and even spaces for individual work. For KRW 9,900, you can enjoy a drink and access the lounge.
