Why not take a stroll through a campus where cherry blossoms are beginning to bloom? Let us introduce 3 major universities located near major landmarks in Seoul! π«
G-DRAGON and Super Junior Kyuhyun
Kyung Hee University (KHU)
Kyung Hee University is a popular cherry blossom spot, often called 'Kyung Hee Land,' thanks to its stunning, ancient trees that bloom with beautiful flowers. It's also the alma mater of K-pop stars G-Dragon πΆοΈ and Kyuhyun from Super Junior. The campus features many European-style buildings made of gray granite, creating a breathtaking backdrop for the cherry blossoms.
For the best photos, we recommend taking pictures in front of the Neo-Renaissance main building or walking along the cherry blossom-lined path near the central library. The Peace Hall, located behind the main building, hosts many concerts, making it a favorite spot for K-pop fans.

It all started with Jejungwon Hospital, Korea's first Western-style hospital, established in 1884 by American missionary Dr. Horace Allen. In 1904, it was renamed Severance Hospital with support from businessman Severance. In 1917, it merged with Yonhi College, founded by missionary Horace Underwood, and became Yonsei University in 1957. The ivy-covered buildings reflect its rich history, while the surrounding mountain offers beautiful greenery.
Yonsei is the alma mater of Park Jin-young, the founder of K-pop agency JYP, and author Han Kang, the first Asian woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. Its symbol is an eagle (the only animal that can defeat Korea University's tiger), and its school color is Yonsei blue.
