1️⃣ Cheongnyangni Traditional Market
Spot Alert! Cheongnyangni Traditional Market in Dongdaemun-gu is THE filming location for the ‘WEIRD GARLIC’ concept of the new song ‘Spaghetti’! 🍝 This massive market is actually one of 9 different markets clustered around Cheongnyangni Station. Plus, the famous Gyeongdong Market (known for herbal medicine) is right next door.
Shops from Cheongnyangni Traditional Market appear in the concept video: Geumgang Sanghoe (Sakura), Chamsae Bangatgan (Hong Eunchae), and Bada Susan (Kim Chaewon). The members totally slayed this wild ‘Spaghetti X Korean Traditional Market’ mashup, showing off a bold and unique worldview for this new era!
2️⃣ Samgyeopsal Daetongnyeong
In the first episode of LE SSERAFIM's solo variety show, 'LENIVERSE', the members had their first work dinner together. For the foreign members, who had never tried samgyeopsal at a restaurant before, they chose samgyeopsal for the meal. Jihe's small dream finally came true. The thick-cut samgyeopsal, aged in bamboo, was incredibly tender. No need to worry about cooking it yourself—the staff will grill the most delicious samgyeopsal for you.
3️⃣ Hongdae Sauna 24
In episodes 11 and 12 of LENIVERSE, the members finally visited the jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) they had always wanted to go to. They tasted a variety of foods from the food court, enjoyed sikhye, a must-try Korean drink, and played a hit-or-miss game. Of course, they also cracked eggs, a popular ritual at the sauna. Located in Hongdae, this sauna is open 24/7, making it a popular spot for backpackers to spend the night. It’s also the perfect place for travelers who miss the last train and have nowhere else to go.
4️⃣ Donuimun Museum Village
At Donuimun Museum Village, you'll find many exhibits showcasing traces of Korea's modern history. In this village, LE SSERAFIM completed various missions while experiencing Korea’s modern daily culture. Plus, BTS also filmed an episode of Run BTS here. They shot at locations like Samdaegak House, the Life History Exhibition Hall, and the Donuimun Military Band. Photos of the idols filming are displayed at the entrance of the buildings.
