Night fishing with a view of a beautifully lit city skyline
A national geopark where you can walk along the 'Igidae Coastal Walk' that extends to the 'Oryukdo Skywalk' and admire the unique volcanic rock formations. The exact origin of the name is unknown, but the most popular theory is that it is where two Korean geishas fell to their deaths along with a drunken enemy general during the Imjin War. No matter where you stand on the trail, you can see the Gwangan Bridge and the buildings across the sea. The stunning night scenery is so captivating that even the movie Haeundae pays homage to it in one of its scenes. It is also a cherished destination spot for anglers, as there is a fishing spot to reel in bluefish, rockfish, and more while overlooking the city center.
