Seoul Library

A quaint building with modern amenities. This library was built on the site of the former Seoul Metropolitan Government Office, and it is a historic place that retains parts of the original building from 1926. The library is divided into six rooms according to the type of book and has comfortable and convenient facilities such as a book sterilizer and an unmanned book return machine.

In front of the library, the sprawling grassy plaza is a perfect place to enjoy a picnic, and the "Reading Program at Seoul Square" is a unique program where you can read in the sunshine. In addition, there are exhibitions that introduce the history of Seoul through audio-visual materials, as well as reconstructed mayor's offices and administrative areas, so you can enjoy the past and present of Seoul at once.
