Building preserved as it was during the APEC meeting
Venue established in 2005 to host the APEC meetings of 21 Asia-Pacific leaders. It is characterized by a modern interpretation of the ridge of Dongbaekseom Island and the traditional structure of a pavilion, while incorporating Korean elements such as crossbeam-shaped ceilings and carpets with a Dancheong (traditional multicolored paintwork) pattern. The conference room on the 3rd floor contains items used by the leaders, preserved as they were at the time. There is also a memorial hall with detailed exhibits related to the APEC meeting.
