When Departing from Jeju International Airport
Check-in
You can check in at the check-in counters on the third floor of the domestic zone. Find the counter of your airline, show your ID, and they will print you a boarding pass. If you don't have your ID, you won't be able to board a domestic flight. Accepted forms of ID include a resident registration card, driver's license, or passport. Note that a copy of your resident register is not accepted because it doesn’t have a photo.
Self-check-in
You can self-check-in through the airline website, smartphone app, or at an airport kiosk. With self-check-in, you only need to drop off your checked bags at the check-in counter. If you don't have any checked bags, you can go straight to the boarding area.

Streamlined boarding system
Foreign residents in Korea with a foreign registration card can utilize the "Smart Entry Service" (automated immigration clearance system) by registering their biometric information (palm vein or fingerprint) in advance. This allows for a smoother boarding process through dedicated gates.
Biometrics can be registered at the Biometric Enrollment Booth on the third floor of the domestic zone or at the self-pre-registration machines. ID verification is required for initial registration.
Eligibility for biometrics registration
• Foreigners who are 17 or over with a Korean foreign registration card are eligible. This service is available at all domestic airports except Incheon International Airport.
• Tourists visiting Korea are not eligible and must go through regular immigration procedures.

Security Screening
Once you've checked in, you'll need to go through security screening before proceeding to your gate. Place all your belongings, including your outerwear, at the checkpoint and go through the metal detector. After a brief pat-down by the airport staff, you're done with security. If you're traveling on a domestic flight, there's no departure screening.
